The Mitutoyo smaller-sized standard micrometer head with zero-adjustable thimble is shorter in length and range with a smaller diameter for easier placement on machines and fixtures.

The Mitutoyo standard micrometer head can be set to zero at any position by loosening the set screw. The small size of the micrometer head allows it fit in tighter spaces while providing accurate placement and measurements. The spindle is constructed of hardened tool steel, and the measuring face is precision lapped for better accuracy.
