Mitutoyo 148-245 Series 148 Micrometer Head, Spindle Feed 0.1 mm/Rev., 0-5 mm, 3.5 mm Stem with Clamp Nut, Spherical (SR1.5)

The Mitutoyo micrometer head with fine-feeding spindle is constructed of hardened tool steel, and the measuring face is precision lapped for better accuracy. The thimble extends at a much smaller rate, 0.1 mm per revolution, than conventional micrometer heads for more precise positioning and measurement.

Features:

• Spherical spindle faces have lapped surfaces and are constructed of ultra-hard SKS3 steel
• Thimble is hard-chrome plated with laser-etched scales for easy-to-read measurements
• External dimensions are compatible with conventional 0.5 mm pitch threads
• Spindle screw threads are precision machined for incredibly precise movements
