The Mitutoyo pointed micrometer utilizes pointed anvil and spline tips to measure small groves on parts or workpieces along with keyways. A mechanical digit counter displays readings to .0001" for easier viewing and recording. A ratchet-stop mechanism provides uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements.
