Sensaphone IMS-4850E IMS Solution Series Dry Contact Interface

The IMS Dry Contact Sensor is used exclusively with the Sensaphone IMS system to interface with any normally open or normally closed dry contact. When the contact switches position the sensor will communicate the change back to the IMS system and users will receive an alarm via phone, text message or email.

It is ideal for monitoring the alarm outputs of other devices such as a UPS, power distribution unit, fire alarm panel, automatic transfer switch or security system. The connection from the interface to the IMS system can use an existing CAT5 network wiring infrastructure, which powers the sensor and allows it to be installed in locations away from the IMS host device.
