A Color Viewing Box is used wherever products need to have the same color characteristics during production. Thus, a Color Viewing Box contributes to quality control. The Color Viewing Box is a simulation tool which is capable of representing certain situations in order to analyse the color characteristics of individual samples. The Color Viewing Box PCE-CIC 10-LED supports six possible illuminants. These illuminants are included as standard: "A/F", "D50", "TL84/F11", "UV", "CWF" and "TL83/U30".

Metamerism can thus be avoided by using a Color Viewing Box. As a support during the measurement, the Color Viewing Box has an hour counter which makes it easier for the user to adhere to the recommended operating time of the lamps. The illuminant is selected by the user independently by the touch of a key. The keys are located on the front side of the Color Viewing Box. If desired, several illuminants can also be enabled simultaneously in the Color Viewing Box. This is done by pressing the respective keys simultaneously.
