Sensors mounted on metal protection tubes and aluminum head, the SPH Series (Sensors with Protection Head) are relatively low cost and are widely used for measurement in liquid medium and gases, in medium and high temperature.

They are ideal where the application requires a thermocouple with a diameter greater than the sizes normally employed in mineral insulated sensors, and processes requiring sensors with a more robust construction.

Main applications in industries: cement, steel, foundry, ceramics, heat treatment, incinerators and sugar and alcohol plants. In processes with high pressures, they must be assembled with machined, threaded or flanged protective wells.
