The Mitutoyo Vernier Hook-End Type Depth Gage attains depth and thickness measurements of a projected portion or line in a hole in addition to standard depth measurements.

The Mitutoyo Vernier hook end depth gage features a hook on the main scale that reaches underneath and measures the depth of projections in a recess or hole. The hook's base is extremely flat, allowing for highly accurate thickness measurements of projections along with standard depth measurements. This depth gage is constructed of hardened stainless steel with micro-lapped measuring faces and base for improved accuracy and wear resistance.
