Overview

Used for mica undercutting, cutting steel, aluminum, platics, and other materials not requiring set teeth.

The teeth of solid carbide saws have a slight land to give strength to the cutting edge. Saws are hollow ground for clearance. When carbide saws are used on non-Martindale equipment, steel supporting washers may be used to provide additional support and reduce breakage.

Martindale carbide saw blades are harder and more brittle than high speed steel saws, and should not be subjected to applications where shock may shorten the service life. Best for use on rigid stationary equipment.

Features:

  • Carbide, 10% Micro Grain
  • Landed
  • Rake Angle on Center
  • Hollow Ground
  • Tolerances: O.D. ±.005, I.D. +.001/-.000, Thickness ±.0005
