This tool lightly chamfers commutator bar edges after undercutting. Pull it along the copper, shaving off the burs, then flip it over and do the edge of an adjacent bar. The holder is designed for comfort, important when many bars need to be chamfered by one person! Made of high speed steel, the inexpensive & easily replaceable 45° inserts.
