The Laxco™ RBD-6000 Digital Abbe Refractometer is a precision instrument engineered for high-accuracy Brix and refractive index (RI) measurements in laboratory settings. A builtin digital thermometer replaces traditional mercury-based units, offering improved temperature accuracy and safety. For even greater precision, integrated inlet valve ports allow for connection to an optional circulating waterbath for enhanced temperature control.

The RBD-6000 offers user-friendly operation with features such as a clear LCD display, push-button Brix readings with or without temperature correction, and easy switching between Brix and RI modes. A dispersion correction hand-wheel, locking prism mechanism, and focus control provide fine-tuned adjustments, while the RS232 interface ensures seamless data transfer to a PC. Designed for efficiency, it requires just 4-5 drops of sample and is IP65 rated for water and dust protection - making it ideal for demanding lab environments.
