The Safer Search System Includes:

• Safer Search Device
  • Easily slides along the search rope
  • Automatically locks in place at the Lock/Direction Markers
  • Unlocking lever is simple to use with a gloved hand
  • Large attachment loops are useful for tag lines, for multiple rope operations, or when connecting to a tie off point
  • Made of anodized machined 6061-T6 aluminum
• Lock / Direction Marker
  • The lock/directional marker is set on the search rope every 25 feet
  • The Safer Search Device automatically locks on this marker so firefighters know when to stop, assess conditions, communicate findings, and feel for the appropriate distance markers
  • The position and shape of this marker shows the direction toward the egress/entry point or into the search area
• Ball Distance Marker
  • The ball markers indicate 25 feet
• Elliptical Distance Marker
  • The elliptical markers indicate 100 feet
• PMI Rapid Search Line II
  • The Safer Search Device System is supplied with PMI Rapid search line. Made of high tenacity nylon with a kevlar interior core
