The Aluminum Continuous Operation ATEX Cabinet Cooler is engineered and approved for use on purged electrical enclosures within classified areas. It has been tested by UL and meets the stringent ATEX requirements for Zones 2 and 22.

This ATEX Cabinet Cooler is a reliable and cost-effective solution for cooling purged electrical control panels in such environments. It provides continuous operation and constant cooling, incorporating a low-pressure relief valve that closes and seals when the cooler is not in use, maintaining the integrity of a NEMA 4 enclosure (dust-tight, oil-tight, splash-resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor use).

With a cooling capacity of 1,700 Btu/hr, this Cabinet Cooler can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. It comes with a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, as well as a cold air distribution kit to direct airflow for circulation or onto hot spots.

The unit is CE compliant. However, EXAIR's ATEX Cabinet Cooler is not a purged and pressurized control system and should not be relied upon as a substitute for one. It is designed to be used in conjunction with a purged and pressurized control system.
