Features:

  • The EXAIR Safety Air Nozzle ejects a small amount of compressed air 360° around the outer ring, which combines with the air released from the center hole to produce a high-volume, high-velocity blast of air.
  • The slotted end allows air to vent safely and prevents blocking of the outlet.
  • The Safety Air Nozzle with Stay Set Hose and Mag Base includes EXAIR's Flexible Stay Set Hose for applications where frequent repositioning is required and a Two Outlet Magnetic Base for firm attachment to magnetic surfaces.
  • Type 303 Stainless Steel - This is the most common grade of stainless steel. It offers good strength and is best suited to mildly corrosive environments. It can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C).

How It Work

How EXAIR Air Nozzles Work:

  • An Air Nozzle uses the Coanda effect to amplify compressed airflow up to 25 times or more.
  • Compressed air is ejected through a series of nozzles on the outer perimeter.
  • As the air travels along the outer wall of the nozzle, surrounding air (blue arrows) is entrained into the stream.
  • The airstream that results is a high volume, high velocity blast of air at minimal consumption.
  • The air is always ejected so it can vent safely, well below OSHA dead end pressure requirements, should the nozzle end be blocked.
