Overview

HMW90 Series Wall-Mount HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Transmitters are designed for high performance HVAC applications such as museums, laboratories, data centers, and production facilities. The transmitter is quick and easy to install and use on the field even without any special tools. These transmitters include user exchangeable measurement modules, which can be ordered as spare parts and are delivered with a calibration certificate.

Typical applications include museums and archives, production and warehouse facilities, data centers, laboratories, and testing environments. The HMW90 series measures relative humidity and temperature in indoor environments, where high accuracy, stability, and reliable operation are required. The sensors are exceptionally easy to configuration, install, and adjust in the field. Calculated humidity parameters (Td, x, h, Tw, a, T-Td).

A standard ISO 9001 factory calibration certificate is included in delivery.

Features:

  • Relative Humidity Measurement 0...100%
  • Temperature Measurement -5 ... +55 °C (+23 ... +131°F)
  • Loop-powered, 4...20mA analog outputs
  • Visible display

Quick and easy to install

HMW90 series transmitters are quick and easy to install. The wiring is connected through the back plate and the electronics with the sensors can be snapped on easily after the wiring is complete. The transmitter is configured using DIP switches, which are accessible when the enclosure is open.

Digital communication brings benefits

The introduction of Modbus RTU communication to field level devices brings many advantages. For example, all sensors can be centrally accessed and their performance can be easily monitored. Wiring is simple when multiple sensors are installed on the same bus. Sensors can be set up using standardized tools, and the system can be expanded with additional sensors quickly and conveniently. In addition, parameters influencing measurements, such as pressure or site elevation, can be centrally set and updated.
