HMS80 Series Outdoor INTERCAP® Humidity and Temperature Transmitter is optimized for easy installation in HVAC and building automation applications. The transmitter features a professional grade integrated solar radiation shield, which is a must for accurate temperature measurements in outdoor conditions. It is designed to tolerate high winds and icing conditions. The transmitter is easy to install either on a pole or wall. The excellent sensor stability and high quality materials translate to minimal maintenance, and if needed the Vaisala INTERCAP® sensor can be easily exchanged in the field with practically no downtime.

Easy Installation

HMS80 transmitters are easy to install. They can be mounted directly onto a wall or pole without any extra accessories. There are no loose parts, screws are retained in the enclosure, all connectors are clearly labeled, and the connectors are within easy reach.

Low Maintenance

HMS80 series transmitters require minimal maintenance thanks to their excellent sensor stability and highquality materials. If necessary, the INTERCAP® sensor can easily be replaced in the field with minimum downtime.
