Vaisala HMP5 Relative Humidity and Temperature Probe for High Temperatures 15-30 VDC IP66

Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Probe HMP5 is designed for high temperature applications such as baking ovens, pasta dryers, ceramics and industrial drying kilns where measurement performance and chemical tolerance are essential. The HMP5 is part of the Indigo product family and compatible with Indigo500, Indigo300 and Indigo200 series transmitters and free Insight PC Software.

Chemical purge minimizes effects of contaminants

In environments with high concentrations of chemicals and cleaning agents, the chemical purge option helps to maintain measurement accuracy between calibration intervals.

Flexible connectivity

The probe is plug and play compatible with Vaisala Indigo series transmitters, can be used as a standalone digital Modbus RTU transmitter, or connected to Vaisala Insight™ PC Software.

Vaisala HMP5 HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Probe is designed for demanding industrial applications where high accuracy and stable measurements are essential. The high temperature rated probe can be installed via a flange into a variety of industrial application such as baking, drying or kilns. The operating temperature range is −70 … +180 °C (−94 … +356 °F).

This probe can function as a standalone instrument with Modbus RTU communication, otherwise it is compatible with the Indigo Transmitters if analog outputs, relays, or a display are needed. In addition to relative humidity and temperature, this probe provides values for a number of other  calculated parameters such as ppm, absolute humidity, dew point, enthalpy, mixing ratio, wet bulb (all available in both metric (°C) and non-metric (°F) units).

The Vaisala HUMICAPR2® sensor is immune to particulate and water condensation, oil vapor and most chemicals. The HMP5 Probe includes a chemical purge feature to provide further protection against harsh chemicals.

The HMP5 Probe includes the following:

• 2m high temperature rated cable
• Mounting clips
• Calibration adapter for HMK15 calibrator

A standard ISO 9001 factory calibration certificate is included in delivery. The HMP5 Probe is compatible with Vaisala Insight Configuration Software.

• Probe extension cables
