Vaisala HMP4 Relative Humidity and Temperature Probe for High Pressures 100 Bar 15-30 VDC IP66

Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Probe HMP4 is designed for high-pressure applications such as compressed air systems in maritime, breathing air, and industrial applications, where measurement performance and chemical tolerance are essential. The HMP4 is part of the Indigo product family and compatible with Indigo500, Indigo300 and Indigo200 series transmitters and free Insight PC Software.

Chemical purge minimizes effects of contaminants

Flexible connectivity

The probe is plug and play compatible with Vaisala Indigo series transmitters, can be used as a standalone digital Modbus RTU transmitter, or connected to Vaisala Insight™ PC Software.

Vaisala HMP4 HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Probe is designed for demanding industrial applications where high accuracy and stable measurements are essential. It is leak-tight threaded process connection can withstand high pressure or vacuum environments from 0 to 100 bara and each probe is individually pressure tested. The operating temperature range for this product is -40 ... +180 °C (-40 ... +356 °F).

This probe can function as a standalone instrument with Modbus RTU communication, otherwise it is compatible with the Indigo Transmitters if analog outputs, relays, or a display are needed. In addition to relative humidity and temperature, this probe provides values for a number of other  calculated parameters such as ppm, absolute humidity, dew point, enthalpy, mixing ratio, wet bulb (all available in both metric (°C) and non-metric (°F) units).

The Vaisala HUMICAPR2® sensor is immune to particulate and water condensation, oil vapor and most chemicals. The HMP4 Probe includes a chemical purge feature to provide further protection against harsh chemicals.

The HMP4 Probe includes the following:

• 2m high temperature rated cable
• Process connection M22x1.5 (ISO 1/2") or NPT 1/2"
• Mounting clips
• Calibration adapter for HMK15 calibrator

A standard ISO 9001 factory calibration certificate is included in delivery. The HMP4 Probe is compatible with Vaisala Insight Configuration Software.

Not included in the package:

• INDIGO transmitter
• Probe extension cables
