Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Module HMM170 is a robust open frame transmitter for integration into environmental chambers that need accurate and reliable measurement even in demanding conditions including vacuum or high pressure.

Built to last

The module is built to last for years and it is easy to integrate into the chamber and the circuit board. Both digital and three configurable analog output channels are available, ensuring compatibility for most chamber types. In addition to relative humidity and temperature, dew point and other calculated parameters are available.

Designed for harsh environments

While test set-ups become increasingly demanding, (example 95 % relative humidity and 95 °C (203 °F)), the HMM170 measurement capability covers the full climate chamber temperature range and full humidity range up to condensation. The instrument also tolerates vacuum conditions and pressure up to 10 bar.

Robust sensor technology

In addition to the recognized accuracy and stability of the Vaisala HUMICAP® sensor technology, HUMICAP® R2 complements this with improved corrosion resistance. Thanks to the automatic purge and probe heating functions, the sensor tolerates typical chemicals and prevents water condensation.

Convenient to use

The modular design with digital (RS-485/Modbus RTU) and three configurable analog output channels make installation easy. An integrated service port enables quick configurations, and calibration with Vaisala Insight PC software and a USB cable.
