Overview
Transmitter/splitter extends a DVI video signal via Cat6 cable to 2 projectors, monitors or HDTVs up to 200 ft. away.
Splitter Ideal for Digital Signage or Displaying DVI Video in Schools or Trade Show Booths
This two-port transmitter/splitter allows you to split a DVI-D single-link signal and extend it to two monitors beyond the normal 16-ft. (4.9 m) DVI limitation using inexpensive Cat5/6 cabling. The B140-002 is recommended for video presentations in conference rooms, schools, trade shows, meeting facilities, houses of worship, retail settings and other digital signage applications where the source and display are farther apart than conventional A/V cables allow.
Extend a DVI Video Signal up to 200-ft. (61 m) from the Source Device
The B140-002 extends video from a DVI source device to two DVI displays up to 200-ft. (61 m) away via user-supplied Cat5/Cat6 cabling (such as N202-Series 24 AWG cables, sold separately). Specifically, it can extend a 1024 x 768 ( at 60 Hz) resolution up to 200-ft. (61 m) and a 1920 x 1080 ( at 60 Hz) resolution up to 150-ft. (45.7 m) when used with an active remote unit (B140-1A0 or B140-1A0-WP, sold separately). When used with a passive remote unit (B140-1P0, sold separately), it can extend a 1024 x 768 ( at 60 Hz) resolution up to 100-ft. (30.5 m) and a 1920 x 1080 ( at 60 Hz) resolution up to 50-ft. (15.2 m)
Include a Repeater to Expand the Range and Add More Displays
Connect a B140-110 repeater unit (sold separately) to add up to four remote units (three repeaters and one active receiver) to each channel for a total of four displays per channel. An active receiver should be the last unit in a channel. A 1920 x 1080 ( at 60 Hz) signal can be extended up to 125-ft. (38.1 m) from each repeater to the next unit in the channel, while a 1024 x 768 ( at 60 Hz) can be extended up to 175-ft. (53.3 m)
Plug-and-Play Operation for Quick Setup and Immediate Use
The included transmitter works right out of the box with no software required. Mounting hardware is included for installing the unit on a wall, pole or 19-inch rack. Its durable metal housing is designed to last a long time and fit seamlessly into any home or office application. The B140-002 is compatible with HDCP standards, all DVI video sources and all operating systems.
TAA-Compliant for GSA Schedule Purchases
The B140-002 is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.
