TOA HY-BC580U AM Metal Back Can for PC-580RU/PC-580RVU and IP-A1PC580R UL-Listed Stackable

The HY-BC580U AM Back Can is a metal enclosure to be used with when installing ceiling speaker models PC-580RU, PC-580RVU, or IP-A1PC580R into a drop tile ceiling when the requirement of UL1480 UUMW/ULC-S541 (Fire Alarm Signaling) and/or UL2043 (use in air handling plenum spaces) certification(s) is needed. Because of its tapered shape, this Back Can is stackable and therefore minimizes the stocking space needed and shipping cost for shipping multiple units. It has four combination conduit knockouts 1/2"- 3/4" (13 -19 mm), four J-clips and two flexible perforated mounting straps.

The interior and exterior of the Back Can is coated in black textured epoxy and the interior is lined with sound absorption material to prevent mechanical and acoustical resonances. The recommended matching tile bars needed (2) is the Q-HY-TB2.
