Thor's Single or Multi Channel SD/HD-SDI input Encoder is today's modern solution for sporting events, concerts, arenas, concert halls, or house of worship that necessitates a Pro-DVB SD/HD-SDI feed for QAM modulation for CATV distribution. SDI is the professional choice for any high end camera or digital video feed, where only the highest quality video feed is of the utmost importance. This encoder modulator will input 1 channel of any SD/HD-SDI feed and produce a QAM, ASI, or IPTV stream for any distribution or contribution feed. Currently being used in dozens of professional and collegiate stadiums and arenas; this multi-channel SDI unit is a low cost powerhouse that has been lauded as a game changer with its impeccable encoding picture quality. This dynamic unit can be just an encoder, a modulator, an IPTV server, or all 3 simultaneously. The SDI-QAM unit will output in MPEG-2 or H.264 for easy distribution to any location in 720p, 1080i, or 1080p60. Combining channels or stacking units is easy with RF inputs and outputs on every unit, including a DVB-ASI input and output for headend contribution.
