Sklar's® Micro Scissors with Yasargil Handle are double spring thumb scissors most commonly used in ophthalmic and micro neurosurgical procedures. Ophthalmologically, they are used in iridectomy, cataract, and capsulotomy procedures. In micro neurosurgery, they are commonly used for tumor and cyst removal. The blades of these scissors are extremely small and sharp, designed for use on specific tissues. The micro blade can also be seen clearly under a microscope when used as a component of surgery. This product has straight tips, a Yasargil bayonet style handle, and an overall length of 9-1/2 inches.
