Metzenbaum Scissors are identifiable by their long, thin shanks and jaws that are relatively short. They also have fine, blunt, rounded tips. These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures, drains, or heavy tissue. Merit™ instruments are Sklar's office-grade line of products and most commonly utilized for routine and in-office minor procedures.
