The Sklar Blue™ Emmett Hook, which may also be known as an Emmett Iris Hook, is most commonly used in electrosurgical OB/GYN procedures involving the uterus. The hook, available in multiple diameters, is at the end of a long, narrow handle, often 9 or 12 inches in length. Sklar Blue™ instruments feature high quality stainless steel with an insulated coating that prevents radio frequency currents from being transmitted through the instrument and thus reducing the burning of non-targeted tissue. Sklar Blue™ instruments are fully autoclavable and may also be cleaned ultrasonically. This product is straight with a 6mm hook tip and an overall length of 12 inches.
