The Sklar Blue™ Mini Emmett Hook, which may also be known as an Emmett Iris Hook, is most commonly used in electrosurgical OB/GYN procedures involving the uterus. The hook is at the end of a long, narrow handle, often 9 or 12 inches in length. Sklar Blue™ instruments feature high quality stainless steel with an insulated coating that prevents radio frequency currents from being transmitted through the instrument and thus reducing the burning of non-targeted tissue. This product is straight with a 4mm hook tip and an overall length of 9 inches.
