The Sklar Black™ Graves OB-View Vaginal Speculum is used for laser gynecological procedures, such as LEEP. It is a standard double blade duckbill speculum that features a wide proximal opening for instrumentation. It is inserted with the blades closed. The blades are then opened by an external lever and screw. The Sklar Black™ Graves OB-View Vaginal Speculum is available with permanent smoke evacuation tubing for use during cauterization. Sklar Black™ Laser instruments feature a non-reflective black polymer coating applied over the sandblasted instrument developed specifically for laser surgeries. This safe, durable coating reduces laser reflection to less than one-tenth of a percent, ensuring a safer surgical environment for patients and surgical staff. All Sklar Black™ coated instruments comply with biological testing requirements for cytotoxicity, sensitization regulatory, and ISO 10993 requirements. They also comply with the Pre-Vacuum and Gravity Cycle Steam Sterilization Validation of ANSI/AAMI ST79. This product is a medium sized speculum with 4" X 1-1/4" blades. It features a 3 inch horizontal window to provide a greater viewing area.
