Sklar's® Mini Tischler Universal Style Biopsy Punch Canula and Tip is part of an OB/GYN instrument. This product attaches to a universal style handle and together the complete instrument they create are biopsy punch forceps. They are often used in colposcopy procedures to obtain cervical tissue samples for biopsy. The mini Tischler bite, 2.3mm x 4.2mm, is slightly smaller than a standard Tischler bite and takes a smaller tissue sample. The mini or baby style biopsy punch is often preferred because less bleeding typically occurs when the smaller tissue sample is removed. The length of this product, which is the cannula and the tip only, is approximately 8 inches.
