The Sklar Black™ Freeway-Graves Vaginal Speculum is used for laser gynecological procedures. It is available with a permanent smoke evacuation tube, a loop for disposable smoke evacuation tubing, or no smoke evacuation. The Freeway-Graves Vaginal Speculum features an open side which allows improved visibility and more room for supplemental instrument access. It is available with 45 or 90 degree angled blades. Sklar Black™ Laser instruments feature a non-reflective black polymer coating applied over the sandblasted instrument developed specifically for laser surgeries. This safe, durable coating reduces laser reflection to less than one-tenth of a percent, ensuring a safer surgical environment for patients and surgical staff. All Sklar Black™ coated instruments comply with biological testing requirements for cytotoxicity, sensitization regulatory, and ISO 10993 requirements. They also comply with the Pre-Vacuum and Gravity Cycle Steam Sterilization Validation of ANSI/AAMI ST79. Sklar laser coatings are guaranteed for one year against manufacturing defects. This product is a medium size speculum with 4" X 1-1/4" blades angled 90 degrees with an open side. It has a loop to hold and direct disposable smoke evacuation tubing.
