Sklar Black™ Desmarres Lid Retractor is a handheld ophthalmologic retractor with polymer coating to make it non-conductive used for retaining primarily the upper eyelid and eyelashes during surgeries involving electrodes. It may be used to pull down the lower lid as well. The curved, saddle style blade contours to the round shape of the eye as well as the curvature of the eyelid created when it is retracted. It is available in multiple sizes to fit the patient's eye. This product has a large, 18mm blade and is 5-1/2 inches long.
