Sklar's® Haimovici artery scissors (sometimes called vascular scissors) are non-ratcheted finger ring instruments used for cutting and dissecting vessels in cardiothoracic surgeries that require an incision into arteries. The blunt, slightly curved tips reduce damage or trauma to surrounding tissue. They are similar to Church, with the long straight shanks and slightly curved tips, rather than the sharp angled tip style of the Mills, DeBakey and Potts-Smith.
