Sklar's® Favaloro vascular scissors are a non-ratcheted finger ring instrument commonly used for cutting and dissecting vessels in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures. They have long shanks and short jaws that are angled after the screw lock, similar to Potts-Smith scissors. The curved shanks, similar to DeBakeys, aid in easy movement around the heart.
