Sklar's® #31L Double-Ended Excavator is a handheld dental instrument commonly used in endodontic procedures. This instrument features a long shank for improved access to the root canal, allowing for more efficient removal of dentin. Both ends of the instrument have a spoon tip which measures approximately 1mm in diameter. Sklar offers this excavator with an octagonal handle with ridges on all sides to improve the users grip.
