Sklar's® Kerrison detachable rongeur with ejector is used in orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures, including laminectomy procedures requiring debulking or removing the vertebral arch. The cupped tip of this version is angled up 90 degrees, and is available in different lengths and bite sizes. When the back hammer is pulled, the crossbar detaches from the shank, easing sterilization and the opening of the Kerrison.
