Sklar's® US Army Pattern Chisel is used to remove bone, particularly around metal plates and screws. One end of the chisel is sharp for working with the bone, while the other end becomes slightly rounded and can be stricken with a mallet for greater force if necessary. This instrument is 6-1/2 inches overall and has a 12mm tip.
