Sklar's® Markwalder bone cutting forceps are double spring, single action forceps that feature angled blades and are commonly used for cutting small bones. For work on larger bones, one might use the Liston-Stille Bone Cutting Forceps, which have a similar blade; however, utilize a double action mechanism for greater ability to cut large bones. The Markwalder profile is more akin to the Liston, but with concave blade tips.
