Sklar 40-1800 Charnley Retractor Set
Sklar's® Charnley Retractor, which may also be known as the Initial Incision Retractor, is a self-retaining retractor, most commonly used during arthroplasty of the hip. It is used when initial incisions are made and maintains exposure of the hip area so the surgeon has an unobstructed view. Many different blades may be used with this retractor as well as a weight and chain, which is used to tilt the retractor 45 degrees, providing a greater view of the anterior side of the hip joint. This item contains a retractor frame (11-3/4" x 9-1/2"), a long blade (1" wide x 1-1/2" deep), short blade (1" wide x 1-1/4" deep) and a weight & chain weighing 4 pounds.
