Sklar 30-1210 Nelaton Grooved Director - 6-1/4"

Sklar's® Nelaton grooved director is commonly used in examining the mouth of a pediatric patient. It is also used in the treatment of ankyloglossia, or "tongue tie." One end of the instrument is flat and pear-shaped. The distal end split assists in isolating the tongue and lingual frenium. The probe end is used to examine the rest of the mouth.
