Sklarlite™ English anvil nail splitting forceps are a double spring, plier handle instrument used in the process of cutting and removing ingrown toenails. The smooth, flat underside of these forceps easily slides underneath the nail bed while the upper anvil edge cuts the nail. Sklarlite™ instruments are a lighter version of standard Sklar instruments. A unique manufacturing process developed by Sklar shaves microns off standard and delicate pattern instruments while maintaining structural integrity and durability. This lightweight modification provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue.
