The Sklarlite XD™ Olsen-Hegar Needle Holder is a ratcheted, finger ring instrument that also has built in scissors. It is used with intermediate weight sutures, commonly in plastic surgery procedures. Sklarlite XD ™ instruments are a lightweight modification of delicate pattern instruments which provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue. This product is straight with horizontally serrated tips, and a central groove. It is 4-3/4 inches long.
