Sklarlite XD™ Halsey Needle Holders are used for holding small needles for suturing, most commonly during plastic surgery and procedures with delicate tissue, such as dermatology. They are available with smooth or delicately serrated jaws. Smooth jaws will cause the least damage to the needle; however, serrated jaws hold the needle more tightly. Physician preference typically determines the type of working surface utilized. Sklarlite XD™ instruments are noticeably lighter and delicate than standard instruments which allow the surgeon the highest degree of precision with the least amount of fatigue. These instruments have been uniquely manufactured to be one of the lightest, most delicate general instruments available today. This product is straight with smooth tips and a length of 5 inches.
