The Sklarlite XD™ Crile-Wood Needle Holder is used to hold and guide small to medium size needles and suture materials. The Crile-Wood Needle Holder has a gently tapered, blunt tip and is generally more delicate than the Mayo-Hegar but slightly less delicate than Webster, Halsey, or DeBakey needle holders. The ratcheted finger ring handle aids in securing needles for both continuous and interrupted closures. Sklarlite XD™ instruments are noticeably lighter and delicate than standard instruments which allow the surgeon the highest degree of precision with the least amount of fatigue. These instruments have been uniquely manufactured to be one of the lightest, most delicate general instruments available today. This product is straight with cross-serrated tips, narrow jaws, and an overall length of 6 inches.
