Sklarlite™ Halsey Needle Holders are used for holding small needles for suturing, most commonly during plastic surgery and procedures with delicate tissue, such as dermatology. They are available with smooth or delicately serrated jaws. Smooth jaws will cause the least damage to the needle; however, serrated jaws hold the needle more tightly. Physician preference typically determines the type of working surface utilized. Sklarlite™ instruments are a lighter version of standard Sklar instruments. A unique manufacturing process developed by Sklar shaves microns off standard and delicate pattern instruments while maintaining structural integrity and durability. This lightweight modification provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue. This product is straight with smooth tips and a length of 5 inches.
