Sklarlite™ Precision Scissors are used for suture removal and have harp tips that easily slide under and gently lift sutures in preparation for removal. One of the blades has a notch that the suture rests in before it is cut. Sklarlite™ instruments are a lighter version of standard Sklar instruments, using a unique manufacturing process that shaves microns off standard and delicate pattern instruments while maintaining structural integrity and durability. This lightweight modification provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue.
