Sklarlite™ Metzenbaum-Lahey Dissecting Scissors are most commonly used for dissecting and cutting tissue. These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures, drains, or heavy tissue. Metzenbaum-Lahey scissors tend to be shorter than traditional Metzenbaum scissors. Sklarlite™ instruments are a lighter version of standard Sklar instruments. A unique manufacturing process developed by Sklar shaves microns off standard and delicate pattern instruments while maintaining structural integrity and durability. This lightweight modification provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue. This product has straight, smooth blades, dual blunt tips, and an overall length of 6 inches.
