Sklar's® Sarot Needle Holder is used for approximation suturing, often in cardiovascular procedures. It is a ratcheted, finger ring instrument that is available in long, short, and pediatric lengths. The shanks curve inward slightly near the finger rings, then extend straight out to short jaws with tips that feature cross-serrations and one central groove. The cross-serrated surface and groove ensrue a non-slip hold on the needle while the ratcheted locking mechanism provides additional security of the hold. This product is for use with pediatric patients and has an overall length of 5 inches.
