Sklar's® Jacobson Tungsten Carbide Microvascular Needle Holder is primarily used for suturing in microvascular and cardiovascular procedures. It may also be known as a Jacobson-Castroviejo Needle Holder. The finely cross-serrated, tapered jaws are able to securely hold very fine sutures. TC instruments are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than other standard instruments. Sklar permanently bonds tungsten carbide inserts to the instrument, which maximizes control and precision. TC instruments are identified by gold handles. This product is straight with micro-profile, cross-serrated jaws, and an overall length of 7 inches. There is no locking mechanism.
