Sklar's® tungsten carbide Swedish needle holder is a ratchted finger ring instrument used in suturing. This product features delicate jaws with pyramid shaped teeth to ensure a firm grip to reduce needle rotation. The shanks of the Swedish needle holder are bent, similar to the Bozeman. TC instruments are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than other standard instruments. Sklar permanently bonds tungsten carbide inserts to the instrument, which maximizes control and precision. TC instruments are identified by gold handles.
