The Sklar® Tungsten Carbide Bozeman Needle Holder is commonly used for suturing in gynecological procedures. The shanks of this instrument are slightly curved and therefore provide greater visibility when used in the uterine cavity. Cross-serrated tips and a ratchet mechanism securely hold needles in place. TC instruments are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than other standard instruments. Sklar permanently bonds tungsten carbide inserts to the instrument, which maximizes control and precision. This product features an "S" curve (slightly curved shanks with jaws slightly curved opposite direction) with cross-serrated tips and a length of 9-1/2 inches. TC instruments are identified by gold handles.
