Sklar Edge™ Tungsten Carbide Z-Type Parametrium Scissors are a non-ratcheted finger ring OB/GYN instrument used for cutting Parametrium tissue, also known as cervical stroma, in vaginal hysterectomy procedures. Z-Type Parametrium Scissors are available in multiple lengths with various curvatures so as to compliment the size and curvature of Z-Type Hysterectomy Forceps. This is so the two instruments can be used in conjunction with one another without blocking the view of the physician. Sklar Edge™ Tungsten Carbide Scissors provide an exceptionally durable and hard cutting edge. These scissors are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than standard scissors. Sklar permanently bonds tungsten carbide inserts to the blades of the scissors which maximizes control and precision. Sklar Edge™ scissors can be identified by two gold coated finger rings. This product is curved with smooth edges, blunt/blunt tips, and a length of 12 inches.
