Sklar's® TC Lister bandage scissors are non-ratcheted finger ring instruments with multiple uses, but most often for removing dressings and circumferential bandages. Plaster and fabric may also be cut with Listers. The tip of the lower blade features a flattened blunt nodule that is intended to slide under the bandage without cutting skin. The Lister is available in different lengths, right or left handed, and a variety of material grades. Tungsten carbide instruments are designed to stay sharp for a long time, to maximize precision and control. Sklar permanently bonds TC inserts to the instrument, identified by gold handles.
